Jessica Alba entered the HD top-10 beauties for the first time in her career. The list, titled Swanni’s 2007 ‘HDTV Honeys! lists the top 10 “honeys” and top 10 disasters on HD for the year and Jessica Alba ranked at #10.

A couple of days ago I posted that a majority of the people who watched Good Luck Chuck totally hated it. I went out and collected some reviews from across the net. Here is what others thought of the movie:

Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times calls Good Luck Chuck “the dirty movie of the year, slimy and scummy,” adding it “layers a creaky plot device on top of countless excuses to show breasts, sometimes three at a time, and is potty-mouthed and brain-damaged.”

Pete Vonder Haar of Film Threat says the film “Veers between flaccid slapstick and mean-spirited vulgarity” and that Alba is “still cute, for now, and appears perfectly happy to let dimples and firm buttocks take the place of talent”.

A.O. Scott in the New York Times says that the movie is “a must-see for young men with a subscription to Maxim but no access to the Internet.”

Kyle Smith wrote in the New York Post that the film is “a fungal little sex comedy [that] doesn’t need a review. It needs a tube of ointment and a shot of penicillin.” .

It’s been a week since the release of Good Luck Chuck and it is clear now that the movie did not fly but rather flopped…

How bad did critics hate it? It ranked at a three percent rating on the Tomatometer on RottenTomatoes.com who also wrote “Alba manages to imbue the proceedings with a modest degree of charm, but the moment she exits the frame the movie stalls, unable to overcome the sheer blandness of its ostensible star.”

That sucks for Dane Cook who should obviously should concentrate on stand up comedy rather than making these movies over and over again.

It’s been known that no celebrity can shop for baby clothes with no reason, however, Jessica and Cash were spotted shopping for baby shoes this past weekend and this quick trip to the store started rumors across the net about possible pregnancy, rumors which Jessica (according to a source) did not bother to deny.

So is she or isn’t she? Well if you look at the set from their tour she sure as hell doesn’t look pregnant…

According to a source who saw them shopping “They seemed really happy to be back together as they shopped. Jessica was picking out shirts for Cash and holding them up against him,” a source claims. “Then they started sneaking a pair of very fashionable looking baby shoes.”

Affair, Russian Model, Law Suit and Fight are only some of the terms linked to the couple Alba-Warren lately. Regardless of rumors, the two were spotted shopping for baby shoes ?!? over the weekend in Malibu.

Jessica Alba and co-actor Dane Cook used their popularity as well as their upcoming movie Good Luck Chuck to help raise $260,000 for Variety of Eastern Tennessee, a charity benefiting children with disabilities.

The fund raiser took a place in Knoxville, TN as the mare announced “Jessica Alba and Dane Cook Day” on Tuesday. The two received their own “stars” in the Regal “walk of fame” and guests paid nearly $75 to watch a private screening of Good Luck Chuck and meet the two.

In a recent interview for the release of Good Luck Chuck, Jessica Alba explained that she is rarely seen out partying because she finds it too much of a hassle and would rather stay home with the girls for a fun night at home.

She says, “I feel like if I’m in the public eye, I’m working, I’m not trying to let it all hang out at a premiere or at… any kind of awards show. I’d rather stay home and play Jenga with a twist, cook some pasta.”

Jenga with a twist?!?

She explained, “We write really embarrassing things on the Jenga pieces, so that everytime someone picks it out, they get to do fun stuff, like put the person to the left of you’s toe in your mouth! We also do this charades-type game and we play Pictionary.“
