During Jessica Alba’s pregnancy there were rumors about her being unhappy with her body (duh) and what it turned into and this week we are confirmed that Jessica indeed had some serious problems when it comes to her looks during the pregnancy. “I never felt less sexy” said Alba to Cosmopolitan (U.K.) when asked about the pregnancy period and added “I mean, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world … but I wanted to get rid of all the weight.”

Immediately after giving birth, Jessica went on a low-carb low-fat diet and combined with a strict workout regimen she was able to lode over 30 lbs and squeeze into a tight little bikini even before the summer was over. The diet, put together by Ramona Braganza (whom we mentioned earlier this week) is a 12-week plan and Jessica seems to have followed it to the “T”.

In an interview, Braganza suggests to “Take some time off and enjoy your body. It’s good to treat yourself after all that hard work.” Which explains the bikini-beach vacation this week as celebrating the weight loss.

About Jessica’s workout Braganza added “She loves to move,” says Braganza. “She swam and played volleyball, but she was out of the gym and enjoying herself.”

If you too were surprised when you saw the lovely photos of Jessica Alba in bikini earlier this week only 3 months after giving birth we can assure you that this transformation took “blood, sweat ,tears” and more than all, consistent workouts over the last 12 weeks.

Jessica’s trainer, Ramona Braganza, spoke to PEOPLE this week only to reveal that there was nothing extra-ordinary about it, “She worked out an hour a day, five or six days a week, and stayed on a strict diet of about 1700 calories a day, losing 600 calories because of exercise,” says Braganza.

Jessica’s low-fat, low-carb diet was part of Braganza’s 321 Baby Bulge Be Gone plan.

Upon giving birth, Jessica said that she wanted to lose all the excess weight in a “responsible amount of time”, but Braganza added that Alba made “amazing progress in a very short time. She really works at it.”

Production for the long awaited sequel for Sin City starring Jessica Alba as Nancy Callahan is right around the corner, this is according to producer Frank Miller. Miller, who visited Rome to introduce Will Eisner’s comic strip adaptation “The Spirit”, got the chance to speak about his other project “Sin City 2″.

In a Q&A session, he said, “I cant’ talk about my projects, because I don’t believe a movie is real until I see the title on the screen. There are many things that can go wrong.” He then added, “But I can tell you that I’m very close to begin Sin City 2 with Robert Rodriguez. We have to arrange a few things and we’ll be back in action.”

The upcoming film was adapted from Miller’s graphic novel of the same title, “Sin City 2″, reportedly will based on the second Sin City story entitled “A Dame to Kill For” and is expected to be finished for 2010 release.

Jessica Alba joined today a short list of celebrities to participate in a unique fund raiser for their favorite charities.

Alba will join Miley Cyrus, Mischa Barton and Vanessa Hudgens all who are to design their own version of “Spread the Love” T-Shirts which will be presented for sale as a part of the Los Angeles based fashion line 2 LOVE. The shirts will be sold for $50 each where portion off the proceeds will be donated to the celeb’s charity of choice.

Jessica Alba, who will be sending her proceeds to StepUp Women’s Network, said today “I had a blast being creative and designing this tee shirt, and I know whenever I see these tees on women, I’ll be reminded to ‘Spread the Love’!”

Great idea and very nice of her to participate. Hopefully it is not one of those charities who give more than $1 off each shirt for charity…
