Earlier this week I posted that J.K. Simmons Joined the Cast of An Invisible Sign of My Own and as production is set to begin any day, actor Chris Messina wraps up the cast.

Messina is the “unknown figure” among the cast but my guess is that he will be much more famous within a year. According to IMDB, Messina has 4 movies set to launch within the next year in addition to An Invisible Sign of My Own.

According to sources, J.K. Simmons, Juno’s dad had joined the cast of An Invisible Sign of My Own.

Simmons was recently seen in the comedy Burn After Reading with Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Dunno much about him besides that. How about you, do you like this guy?

Jessica Alba attended FreightFest in London for a special preview of her movie The Eye back in March of this year. I cannot recall this event getting any coverage (at least not on this blog) and thought it was a nice piece (total 4:16 minutes) of Jessica being interviewed in front of live crowd.

Remember Idle Hands? I totally forgot Jessica Alba was in this movie until I ran across this video. A dressed down Jessica Alba was spotted leaving the Vienna Cafe earlier this morning. Jessica Alba was sporting a colored button up shirt over a black tank and jeans and seemed to have grabbed an iced coffee and a danish for the road.

Only days after we got a glimpse into Jessica Alba’s newly remodeled eco-friendly home we hear that she purchased a luxury apartment in the Big Apple. According to sources, the apartment is located in the financial district of New York.

Jessica Alba gave InStyle a sneak-peak into her newly renovated, kid-friendly, eco-friendly home.

If you can recall, about a year ago Jessica Alba and Cash Warren spent quite some time looking for a new pad and the one that they finally found needed some serious work so Jessica took the “white canvas” and designed the home of her dreams.

“It’s kid-friendly, animal-friendly,” Jessica said. “You can jump on the sofas, walk around barefoot, there’s nothing off-limits here.”

“The energy here is so inviting – it is open and playful, and everywhere you look, inside and out, you get to see a part of nature.”

On Cash’s contribution to the clean home Jessica said “he’s pretty organized for a dude.”

On the environmental friendlyness of the home, Jessica explained that the paint picked for the home are nontoxic all furniture is made of recycled furniture.

Here’s another fashion find. Jessica Alba was spotted wearing a ‘Vote’ scarf by Karen Zambos Vintage Couture. The scarf follows the election trend Jessica has been involved with for a while now and can be found at ShopBop for $108.

If you’re asking me, it is kind of a waste as this scarf will hit the bottom drawer for 4 years in exactly 2 weeks but, hey, if she can afford it… More power, right?
