Jessica Alba joined actor Chiwetel Ejiofor onstage at the 24th annual Independent Spirit Awards held yesterday in Santa Monica, California.

Jessica and Chiwetel presented the award of Best Supporting Actress to Penelope Cruz for her performance in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Jessica Alba looked lovely and glowing at the Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica yesterday.  She warmly smiled and greeted fans as she made her way to the red carpet.

Dressed in a fun, flirty lavender dress (topped off with a light pink cardigan while she walked through the parking lot). Nude Mary Jane shoes and a playful pink patterned clutch topped off her girlish look.

Jessica Alba won a major award yesterday at the Kids Choice Awards. Jessica won the favorite movie actress, the first prize of the evening and accepted her blimp trophy from Janet Jackson and actor Josh Bell.

In her acceptance speech Jessica said “I love Nickelodeon! I wore green today in honor of the slime,” she said. “I love making movies for you all.”

Jessica Alba is a among the top nominee at Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards. The 21st KCA will air tonight and features Jessica Alba as a nominee in the Female Movie Star along with Drew Barrymore, Kirsten Dunst, Keira Knightley.

Jessica, who won an award last year is not yet confirmed to appear but I hear that producers have some surprises up their sleeves with a possible Britney Spears appearance.

While picking up her Female Hottie award, Jessica said “I would like to dedicate this award to a young man who has been on my mind for the last 19 years: Ross.

“Ross didn’t love me. I was pigeon-toed, I had a sway back, I was slightly cross-eyed, buck-toothed, I sucked my thumb. Look at me now, Ross! Look at me now!”

Jessica Alba had won many awards (& compliments) for her body, but today she got some appreciation for her face as well. INDEPENDENTCRITICS posted their “THE 100 MOST BEAUTIFUL FACES IN THE WORLD” and Jessica Alba is in the 47th place.

The site writes: “If this list had anything to do with the “best body”… Jessica Alba would easily rank in the top 10,” and has been ranking Jessica for the past 3 years in this list with 47th being the highest place.
