Rumors of a “Good Luck Chuck” sequel are looming and actually were started by the leading lady herself.
Jessica Alba tweeted the other day, “I have good news Before I go, this is for the good luck chuck fans 
Just recieved word that Good luck 2 may Get the greenlight!”
The original “Good Luck Chuck” was released on September 21, 2007.
The film “centers its story on Charlie Kagan, a successful dentist who is known among the women he once dated as a ‘good luck charm’ due to a curse placed upon him years back. One day, he meets an accident-prone penguin specialist Cam and develops a genuine romance with her.”

Dane Cook: “Good Luck Chuck Was Nothing Like Porn”
In February issue of ELLE Magazine, Jessica Alba commented on the making of GOOD LUCK CHUCK, saying that the movie varied so much from its original plot that it was as if they were making a porn movie.
Dane Cook did not wait long to release his reply to Alba saying that the movie barely vary from the original script which all actors reviewed prior to joining the cast. In a recent interview to MTV, Cook said “First of all, we all read the script. We did what we read. I guess to that I would say, she’s watching some really silly-*** porn.”
Good Luck Chuck DVD Review

Good Luck Chuck made it to video quite quickly. The movie, which was released September 21 (2007) didn’t do too good on the big screen but didn’t do too good (as you may remember).
For the release of the DVD, DVDTALK wrote a lengthy review of the video, audio and over all quality. Here is the highlights:
The Video:
Immaculate as the content is filthy, Good Luck Chuck sparkles throughout, thanks to its mostly flawless 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, which according to the IMDb, is opened up a bit from its theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1 (purists, light the torches!). Nevertheless, there’s hardly anything worth fussing over — this is a very solid image.

Good Luck Chuck on Blue-ray in January

Lionsgate alerted retailers this week that Jessica Alba’s recent comedy, Good Luck Chuck will be be hitting the shelves this January on Blue-ray and DVD.
The exact date is set for January 15th and the Blue-ray price is $35.
More Good Luck Chuck Reviewes

A couple of days ago I posted that a majority of the people who watched Good Luck Chuck totally hated it. I went out and collected some reviews from across the net. Here is what others thought of the movie:
Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times calls Good Luck Chuck “the dirty movie of the year, slimy and scummy,” adding it “layers a creaky plot device on top of countless excuses to show breasts, sometimes three at a time, and is potty-mouthed and brain-damaged.”
Pete Vonder Haar of Film Threat says the film “Veers between flaccid slapstick and mean-spirited vulgarity” and that Alba is “still cute, for now, and appears perfectly happy to let dimples and firm buttocks take the place of talent”.
A.O. Scott in the New York Times says that the movie is “a must-see for young men with a subscription to Maxim but no access to the Internet.”
Kyle Smith wrote in the New York Post that the film is “a fungal little sex comedy [that] doesn’t need a review. It needs a tube of ointment and a shot of penicillin.” .
Did Good Luck Chuck Suck?
It’s been a week since the release of Good Luck Chuck and it is clear now that the movie did not fly but rather flopped…
How bad did critics hate it? It ranked at a three percent rating on the Tomatometer on RottenTomatoes.com who also wrote “Alba manages to imbue the proceedings with a modest degree of charm, but the moment she exits the frame the movie stalls, unable to overcome the sheer blandness of its ostensible star.”
That sucks for Dane Cook who should obviously should concentrate on stand up comedy rather than making these movies over and over again.

There are many things that may happen to actors/actresses while filming a movie, this one is definaly at the bottom of the list… Jessica Alba apparently chipped a tooth while on a romantic scene with Dane Cook.
In a recent interview, Jessica Alba said:
“It was just a case of Dane and I going at it during a kissing scene and we both collided and I chipped a tooth.”
“I now have a bond on my tooth but when I take it off, I look like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber. I look really silly. I guess I’d be perfect for a sequel.”
