Jessica Alba Supports a Campaign to End Violence Against Women

January 13, 2008 by Gilad

Jessica Alba, along with Katie Holmes and Rosario Dawson, to support a charity campaign fighting to end violence against women.

The actresses took place at the V-day’s 10th anniversary luncheon in Los Angeles last Thursday. V-day is a global effort to help victims of domestic violence.

Jessica Alba is said to have lifted the spirits while reading a poem and cracking jokes about her pregnancy and growing size.

If you guys don’t know, I’m pregnant. You’re all women. I think you understand your breasts are engorged and your stomach is getting bigger by the second,” she said.

it’s good that she is doing things that help the world instead of being one of those rude celebrities who only care about themselves. she is an amazing actress and give a lot back. and i think it’s good she’s ok with her pregnancy and joking around about it. probably makes her feel more comfortable.
