As mentioned yesterday, a very pregnant Jessica Alba appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show earlier today.
Jessica and Ellen spoke about Jessica’s surprise when she found out she was pregnant, Jessica re-confirmed our news from yesterday saying that she is expecting a girl and lastly she talked about working with Mike Myers on The Love Guru and how impossible it was not to laugh every other sentence he says…

Jessica Alba updated her MySpace blog today noting that she will be on the Ellen DeGeneres show tomorrow “so be sure to watch it.”
Jessica also commented on the upcoming the release of The Love Guru:
On another note, I’m very excited for my new movie The Love Guru with Mike Myers. He is honestly one of the funniest people on the planet! I can’t wait for you guys to see it.
On her upcoming baby Jessica said:
The countdown has begun for the baby’s arrival…..Cash and I are beyond excited!!! Thanks to everyone for all your positive words of encouragement and support during my pregnancy. I really appreciate every note.

Jessica Alba is done nesting and had confirmed to USMAG the rumors that she is having a girl. Jessica even took it a step further and gave the mag a sneak peak into her organic nursery.
I’m waiting — we’re not sure what the name is going to be. My name was Faradon Luisa for three days. I don’t want to make that mistake with my kid!
Jessica and Cash hired the services of designer Kari Whitman. The two selected lavender, pink, and white color scheme. They also wanted hippie-style embellishments while staying as green as they could. Jessica explained,

Following her two baby showers Jessica Alba realized she had gotten way too many gifts and headed out to Thomas Riley High School where she met with some pregnant students and gave them some of her gifts.
This is very considerate of her, I am sure those were some nice gifts and those were some lucky girls…

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren chowed down at Mr. Chows last week. Jessica wore a see-through black dress with no bra and revealed more than we wanted to see at this stage of her pregnancy…

While religious leaders took offense to The Love Guru, there are some who still support it. Deepak Chopra who saw the final version of the movie recently said “This was a great opportunity to make our Indian philosophy even more popular because despite the popularity of the books, young kids do not know much about it and humour is a good vehicle.”
I must add that Chopra himself has a guest role in the movie but regardless of that fact I think that he is 100% right. Humor/comedy is a great vehicle to introduce large amounts of people into new concepts and while I doubt this was on Mike Myers’ mind when creating the movie, there is no reason it shouldn’t be viewed this way.
